Perry County Park District Mission Statement
The mission of the Perry County Park District is to support the conservation and preservation of natural areas in Perry County and to enhance wonder, appreciation, and education within our county through environmental, historical, cultural, and recreational programs and activities, to enrich the quality of life in our communities.
Perry County Park District History
Founded in 1996, the Perry County Park District is a political subdivision of the State of Ohio, organized under and operating in accordance with, Ohio Revised Code – Chapter 1545.
The Park District is governed by a five-citizen Board of Park Commissioners, appointed by the Perry County Probate Judge.
